The Director of the Volunteer Center for Civil Emergencies held official meetings at the central offices of Civil Protection in the Prefecture of Fermo, where he met with Italian representatives who were in Albania to provide their contribution during the natural disaster caused by the earthquake of November 26. The Italian team, which responded to QVEC\u2019s call and arrived in Albania with their search and rescue equipment and fire brigade units, was awarded certificates of appreciation. They also gave assurances to Director Nebi Mucaj that they will return to Albania to bring additional aid collected by both Italians and Albanians, and to contribute further with equipment and personnel. Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed between QVEC and another counterpart organization. The official meetings were also covered by local media, as shown at this link.
